It is a total menace - you won't get rid of it if it's allowed to seed itself - it will smother all your plants! Dig them out with a trowel.

There are lots of different varieties of geraniums (which is defo what this it) some are invasive, but others not so. Barbara - are you sure this is one of the baddies?

Thanks for the enfro the leafs are not scented at all , if geraniums...but will let flower to see andnot let seed if what Spritzhenry say is a menace...chezs

Hi Chez, when you say they 'not scented...if geraniums' I think maybe you are confusing 'geraniums' with 'pelargoniums'. The plant in your pic is in the genus Geranium and this is its botanical name. The plants with brightly coloured flowers and smelly leaves that we grow as bedding are known as geraniums (common name), but their botanical name is, in fact, Pelargonium (genus). Its Wild Geranium & spreads very Easy&fast ,It does have very pretty pink flowers if i remember rightly :D
