HELP i unwrapped my tree fern no fronds just top covered in brown type of fur any help please i unwrapped 2 weeks ago

Poke your finger in the fur Alana, you should feel hard curved knuckles, they are your new fronds, one of mine has all the new fronds and the other is just unfurling, i counted 12 :)))))
