I have seen a Lilac growing locally which appears to be pale lemon in colour. I cannot find it any books, can you help with the variety pleas? many thanks.

These are called "Primrose Lilacs" and not always a very reliable yellow.

I have a Syringa vulgaris Aurea which has gold leaves. It might be that one, although there are other gold leached varieties.
