Can anyone recommend a garden journal type book so I can log things and keep records?

I have been looking for a good one for some years. About 5 years ago the RHS produced one but it has never appeared again. I just use an A4 hard back notebook and note everything planted and flowering each month. The trouble is when you want to know when you planted something it takes ages to find it again. I don't know if anybody has a better idea?

I am starting to use this 'plants in my garden' section on this site. you can record anything you want about it and as its an alphabetical list it is easy to find and edit. :o)

Best of all is a database. using 'Works' on your PC , it is not difficult and becomes addictive. However I also keep a note book which seems somehow more friendly.

There's one here:

and if you go here, there are free templates for you to print out and make your own.

Amazon have the RHS one.

and here is quite a good selection of them. :o)
