Yes they are quite common now I have had some short stemmed Pinky red ones a few years now they are great stand up to the wind and three for the price of 1!! I buy a pack each Autumn for the tubs then plant them out in the beds when they go over, they come nice and early the ones I had which is great.

Yes, there are several varieties that do this - bright red 'Fusilier' for one!
