If you mean wisteria, yes, but when in a tub, it's usually grown up a strong support as a sort of tree form. Will need rigorous pruning or it'll outgrow its pot in no time.

I've seen plenty growing in large pots and tubs as standards (tree shaped). Someone on here had the brilliant idea of 'plaiting' three saplings together to make a twisted stem...I'm sure it is Dottydaisy2. Have a look at hers! :D
