I have a patio nectarine tree and some of the leaves are turning red and curling up

should I cut them off or is this normal. I'm not sure because I only got the tree last year. Thanks

This is peach leaf curl (peaches and nectarines are closely related) You need to keep the leaves dry in spring as the spores are carried on rain splashes. Google 'peach leaf curl prevention' and go to the Horticulture Week entry for good advice and tips.
