I did have the most beautiful ceoanthus until after it flowered las t year.The blossom all went brown and dry and very brittle. The whole tree has gone green.I think it is beyond saving,but would appreciate an expert comment on it.

You need to be clearer about your question - what do you mean "the whole tree has gone green"? Its leaves ARE green - do you mean it's covered in moss all up the trunk and branches?
