I have grown some aubretia from seed. I assume they won't flower now but do I keep them in pots in a sheltered outdoor spot or plant them for next year? Thanks

Yes just done that with mine Pdb, planted them on Mums rockery, things come on so much better when in the ground.

Thanks girls. Will get them in this week. Does that go for all perennials grown from seed that won't flower till next year?

Yes - but you must keep them watered during dry spells (if we ever have any, that is...) Actually, on that subject, despite torrential rain on Thursday and most of the week here, its surprisingly dry downstairs in the garden - I'd guess the force 9 gales dried it out, cos its certainly not the sun...

Yup agree with Bamboo plant out all your perennials and make sure you keep them watered.

Hi Pdb so long as the plants are a reasonable size I'd suggest getting them into the ground rather than keeping in pots.
