Last year I thought had dug most of it out but it is back with a vengeance . I live in the north east of scotland on the coast and although it does very well it seems to be quite dominant and I would like a change

You are lucky mine are growing in a pot and not very prolific, can't get any response from them in the garden, obvioulsy not the right soil conditions or not the right touch

Oh...wouldn't mind your problem Lol! I have the same thing with Rudbeckia Goldsturm it is an absolute thug! In the Autumn think I'll use a systemic weedkiller like Glysophate to get rid.
