Hi do you mean the reds ones have changed colour? or the yellow ones have now gone, if its because of the yellow ones have gone they arnt as tough as the red ones and have may have died out over the winter leaving the others to take over if I have read your question properley , I know with dahlias if fed properley the flowers will be darker compared to the same variety in poor soil

Thanks Gg, Last year there weren't as many red and there were still some yellow ones so that could be what has happened.

Yes the reds ones must be more hardy than the white and yellow ones and now they have gone they have more room to take over , still look good though.
