I have several Earthboxes that I grow tomatoes in. I am looking for a good way support the plants. I do not want to use the staking kits from Earthbox. Any ideas?

I've never heard of staking kits - we usually just use canes. In an earthbox perhaps you could make cane tripods for stability, one for each plant?

Unfortunately they is no better way to support tomato plants other than staking kits when using earthboxes(canes and pots) although bush varieties will need little or no support at all.

We have found that the best way to stake plants is with large tomato cages. Put them around the plants as soon as you plant them and they will grow up and stay straight and tall.
