Are there any maincrop seed potatoes to buy anywhere at this time of the year? Everyone online seems to be 'out of stock'.

Since it appears I may have lost my first earlies to eelworm I thought I would try growing some potatoes in large buckets .But is it too late to get hold of seed potatoes now?I thought I might try a maincrop if they're to be had.

Try the large DIY stores....they know nothing about gardening and may have some left on their shelves!

Will try both the garden centre and Homebase first in case they have any left. Thanks a lot for your replies !

Have you tried "froogle"? Type in "seed potatoes" and see what it comes up with. There should still be a few around. I know a lgc near me still has some.
If not, let me know and I'll try and get some for you. I even have 4 seeded potatoes left that you can have if you'd like?
