I am looking for a Conifer that grows to about 10 feet in, say, 15 years and has one central stem with all the smaller ones growing from it. Can anyone please advise me what kind to get? In the past few years I have lost three of the type where separate branches come from the base and don't want to risk it again. These seem to spread out too much in the centre and ultimately turn brown in the north-east winters.
