we have just discovered cabbage seed pod weevil in our garden they have ruined our crop are there any types of control that I can use please

Interesting. This is a little known pest which normally attacks the developing seed pods of Oil seed rape. It should have no effect on cabbages which are grown for their leaves and never develop flowers, unless they have bolted. Are you sure of your diagnosis?

I would have to agree with Owdb that unless you have seed pods on your cabbages - then you do not have cabbage seed pod weevil.

True, it shouldn't be a problem unless you are growing seed for planting--or mustard!
