Marsh marigold (Caltha pulustris florie pleno)
Erodium
Geranium 'purple pillow'
Aubretia
Arabis
Alyssum saxatile
Dwarf trailing junipers
Saponaria ocymoides
Dianthus deltoides.
Lots of low growing plants that will trail down to, but not into, the pond.
