I have just noticed I have a bumble bee nest in my rockery and my grandchildren visit regularly. If the weather is nice they are always playing in the garden. What should I do about it? If I leave it is it likely to swarm later?

I don't think it has been there very long.

depending on the age of your grandchildren you can show them how to watch safely and see how busy they are.

If it's in the rockery, it won't be the "hive" swarming type of bee, it'll be solitary bees in individual holes, so no risk of swarm.
