Plants to attract bees

United Kingdom

Hi I am looking for a plant or plants, which would grow in partial sun in chalky soil, to attract bees.

Thanks

i have monarda in a similar place. it's common name is beebalm or bergamot.
small shrubs such as hebe may be ok. larger shrubs like budleia are also good for bees. Salvia caradonna also fares quite well in the semi shade and they are covered in bees all day long.
welcome to GoY too.

Lavender might not do too badly, as long as it gets half a day's sun.

How do I say thanks?
