I have a large, small tree size cordyline that has been fab for years. I noticed today that the new leaves are crickled/pleated. I recently top dressed and included some slow release fertiliser pellets, could this have caused the problem?

its unlikely. as they emerge they are often pleated but then flatten out properly. this happens with one of my irises and it is in a drier spot than the others. so perhaps it has had a dry spell.
