Just a few more pictures of what’s doing well in the garden at the moment! Everything has really grown well this year…including my cat (time for a diet I think..too many prawn treats. That’s the cat not me!) I have even had double barrel courgettes! Hope you enjoy.

Lovely pictures. I like your lilies. Your "siamese" courgette is something common as I had a few myself in past. It's good to have two for the price of one.

Yes Sticki! I have to fight off the lily beetles every year, lost one or two lilies but the rest came through! Went hunting the beetles on a daily basis, picking them off and squishing them, also spray the plants too!

This is the first time I have had courgettes do that Coshad but as you say two for the price of one is good. Also grew yellow courgettes this time and was pleasantly surprised, not only did I get a good crop they seemed to taste 'creamier' too - or maybe that was just my imagination!

Lovely, lovely lilies. I hope they smell good too. I like the dark one especially. I am still finding the dreaded beetles and squishing too. I forgot about them for a few weeks so they moved in while I wasn't looking.

Thanks for all your kind comments, Yes Joanella I did see that, it makes a lovely change...wish they would do that all along the side of the roads, it would certainly help wildlife and insects. I will take a walk and get that photo for you today Sticki! Sorry to hear about your problems with the beetles Shirley, I know they can wipe out a whole plant in one night if you don't catch them ..its so frustrating, one day a lovely healthy plant the next a stalk! Keep squishing everyone! Keep saying that I won't buy any more as I am running out of space but just adore them too Lincslass especially the scented ones! :-)
