Of course we knew gardening is so good for you but nice to see it scientifically confirmed, and not just the pleasure and exercise but the actual contact with the soil…

ohhh I am so impatient! It snowed today! :-( Perhaps if I buy some seeding mix... and start some flats I'll feel better. Have decided to try to make a rocket stove to boil the sap...and a tea light candle heater for the greenhouse! Could this be symptomatic of desperate obsession, depressive stress... or just plain insanity? Argh! it's going to be cold all week! thanks for the link. ;-)

Are 'flats' seedtrays lori? Yes that does feel good, creating some gardenlife indoors before anything stirs out there. I sympathize w you having to put up with those long winters, I find the yorkshire ones hard enough but bearable and thank gdness nowhere near as grim and cold as yours. I hope your weather has improved by now.
Just looked at accuweather and saw that quite a lot of sun is coming your way with higher temps, go for it girl ? get those powertools of yours out!

Great stuff. But just being in the garden is an anti depressant in itself, especially at this time of year.
