Smelly decking!

The boss phoned in this morning, his son had cut his head open and they where in casualty awaiting stitches!
Our task today was to scrub under the decking where the drains don’t drain away properly!
Well with a weak stamack as the excuse I left the K.P. with a pair of rubber gloves, face mask and a bottle of sanitizer………….
So while the cats away the mice will play…………..
Back to the garden!

We surveyed yesterdays handy work this morning only to decide it was rubbish! Took the panels down and started again!
Martin went out for post concrete. And with a ball of string and two wooden stakes I remarked the beds. Great news we have a straight retaining fence for the flower beds. Hope the managing director appreciates the work, especially when Martens been getting in trouble for not putting up the new notices for the offices.

Still cant decide what to plant but I think the sweet peas will have to find a place even if its up wigwam of bamboo. New Gardener World arrived today looking at Alan’s cottage garden style for inspiration!

Finger buffet for a funeral tomorrow so wont be able to skive. lets hope it rains.
