Clematis

Not been doing much in the garden since I last posted because I’ve either been at work or it’s been raining!
I have bought several new plants from a car boot sale I went to at weekend, a berberis and ceanothus among others. Also some of the cuttings I’ve been taking look to have started to root so it’s looking promising for filling the front garden a bit more soon. I’ve been given some garden shelving by hubby’s stepmum and that is now outside with my cuttings on.
The best news is that the clematis I bought last year and had done nothing this year has started to grow! I really thought the bad winter had done for it and was considering digging it out. Thought I’d give it a chance though and just left it. Now can see a definite green shoot. Made my evening when I noticed that tonight – not that the rest of the family cares!
Hopefully over the next few days I can get out and, if the weather keeps off, take some photos.

Clematis sometimes grow back from the roots below the ground. 2 of mine I thought I'd lost now have shoots coming from under the ground.
Never mind about the rest of your family - they sound boring to me lol :o))
