Yesterday was my sites open day and the posters advertised Bob flowerdew from GQT would be doing a Q+A
but in true celeb style they didnt turn up so the only option was to look around the sites community gardens.

im afraid the pictures up until the seedlings are from the community plot, so that was the first time i saw the archway, but the mosaic was made by local primary schools.

It looks like an artichoke to me.
Lots of lovely seeds coming up there. Good luck with them.
Compost toilet is a great idea. Love the arch and the path way. Grass clipping mulch is a very good idea.

there is a lot of work in that mosaic path, its very pretty and i really love that living arch, did you start it off with those little willow shoots?
