Nipped into Aldi today because i know every thursday there is a plant delivery and they get all new stock lol.
Today was fruit vines, winter veg and potted plants.
I very very nearly brought some purple curly kale but tbh ive no room on the lottie atm and i dont like kale lol.
But i did buy a black grape vine for ONLY 4.99 and potted lillies for ONLY 1.79.
If any of you know how to treat this vine i need help PLEASE!! im training it on laterals in the greenhouse at the lottie but i could do with some other advice please thanks.
Heres my new potted lillies.

I can't offer any advice from experience (yet!) but I inherited a greenhouse vine when I moved earlier this year and have been trying to find out what to do with it!
I found this info on the RHS website quite helpful:
http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/profile.aspx?pid=287
http://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/profile.aspx?PID=284
And I ended up buying the Wisley handbook on Grapes too because I, er, needed some pictures to show me what to do as I couldn't get my head round it otherwise! I could probably pick some info out of that if it would help?

GM Ive been in aldi again today and brought 2 more lol i hate having to walk past there to get home!!!! brought a red and yellow one :)
Hywel i think they like really cool roots but then really warm vines lol ive been told to grow roots outside or in shade then grow the vines in the GH.
Geranium they are really difficult to understand lol i regretted it very soon after but i wont give up. i know we have to thin the bunches and something about picking odd buds but we'll get there lol.

That's why I needed pictures lol ;o)) It was how to train/prune it that confused me most. You won't regret it once you've got loads of grapes!

great grape vine Sense, looks very healthy and should provide nice fruit. I also purchased those lilies, they are good strong plants arent they, about to flower very soon.
