I have written a blog recently but I was walking today and saw many hidden plants flowering .I am happy that my garden looks colourful.

Philadelphus which blooming happily

Don’t know the name and never put this plant but came up.

These are last years sweet Williams , I think.

Arch and there was big conifer behind this but sadly burnt and we pulled out with lot of difficulty.

So sad when we were cutting

looking good Shahida, the blue flower is a campanula probably Campanula perscifolia. The seed is very light so it could have come in on birds or in compost in other plants.

I have lots of that campanula in the garden - it seeds happily and is a plant I love. We have it in white, too.
It's always sad when a tree has to be removed but you could enjoy choosing something new.
Love your colourful space.

You have some beautiful plants esoecially I love your Philadelphus.

I ve just had a fir tree dug out it fell over another will have to go too. As you say it gives you chance to replace it with another plant.

Your garden looks beautiful, colourful and immaculate. The Sweet Williams are lovely and something I must grow again as they are ideal for insects, bright and cheerful and remind me of my Mother who grew them for cut flowers. I wouldn't mourn the lost conifer, they take up so much room and block a lot of light too. Something with a more delicate crown would look lovely.
