Chamaerops Cerifera
Native to the Atlas mountains of Morocco, this breathtaking, slow-growing palm is one of the most cold-tolerant species available (to -12 degreesC). It usually tends to form a clump of stems, each topped with a head of attractive palmate leaves, and is an excellent choice for a container, where it can survive drought, heat, wind, cold and long periods of neglect! Supplied approximately 40-45cm (16-18) high, in a 15cm pot. Part of our Tropical Garden range of tropical plants. You don't have to live in the tropics to create a tropical garden. With the hardy palms and bamboos featured you can create your own little jungle-like haven!
