Chamamaerops humilis grows pretty quickly in the ground here, in pots it's slow. I think it grows much taller here (to more than 30' or 10m).

This is in the ground and it has hardly grown at all......not that I mind!

Chamamaerops humilis loves extreme heat. It grows very well and fast even in the low deserts of California which commonly has temps to more than 120ºF (49ºC) in summer.
