Silvermist's Profile

I'm American but have lived in England for the past 10 years. I knew nothing about gardening until just a few years ago. I can thank the British for that! Now I have a longish herbaceous border in my back garden that I adore.

Roses are my favourite flower by far and I own about 11 rose bushes. 2 of them are miniature and one is in a container (Jacques Cartier). Some of the other roses I have are Brother Cadfael, Golden Celebration, Gertrude Jekyll, Helen Robinson, Crocus Rose, Chandos Beauty, and Arthur Bell. I love fragrant roses. I think that a rose without a scent is only half a rose!

I enjoy visiting gardens around Kent and the surrounding counties.
