If someone had told me 18 months ago that I would adore gardening I would have been sceptical to say the least. I've always "enjoyed gardens" but was never keen on getting dirt under my nails. When I moved into my first home however, I felt brimming with ideas and excitement. I'm blessed with a mother who knows her stuff and so I tell her how I would like it to look and she translates that into what plants I should buy and how I should plant them. I now have a beautiful little paradise and I love caring for each and every plant and watching them flourish. It's so rewarding to sit back on a summers evening with a glass of wine and the BBQ on the go, surrounded by beauty.
