What a confused garden!

Is your garden as confused as mine is? There are still lots of summer flowers out to enjoy.
But there are also signs of Autumn coming. Leaves are already changing colour weeks before they usually do, like this Virginia Creeper!
There are berries on my Pyracantha. I do enjoy the sight of this Virginia Creeper climbing through it, but it’s so early this year!
And this sad heap of dead vine leaves is waiting for me to clear it up – normally this happens much later in the year. It seems that my garden thinks that autumn has come – in August!
But here we have more confusion between the seasons – I have several plants flowering – or about to flower – for the second time: a cistus, a ceanothus and …a PRIMROSE!
Is your garden as confused as mine?
