Some of my roses.

I have quite a few roses in my garden- it’s very difficult to choose my favourite, because I love them all, but I think it would have to be ‘Alibaba’.
Or maybe ‘Lady of Shalott’?
‘Champagne Moment’
‘Eyes for You’
‘Rosa banksia ’Lutea’
‘Rhapsody in Blue’
‘Gertrude Jekyll’
‘Inherited shrub rose’ – we’ve tried in vain to find its name.
This is a carpet rose, but as it grows UPWARDS, I call it my ‘Tapestry Rose’.
‘Hot Chocolate’ is a unique colour, but I love it.
’ Angelface’
That is certainly not all my roses, but that will do for now.
Which one do you like best?

Gorgeous selection!!! It’s a difficult decision, but I’m going with either, Champagne Moment or Gertrude Jekyll. The fragrance would be a bonus.

Oh they are all beautiful, but I think I would go for Champagne Moment also.

I too love my roses and have about 20 now, but my absolute favourite is Gertrude Jekyll.
The fragrance is beautiful.
I also have Hot Chocolate although not sure about the smell of that one.

I love the Gertrude Jekyll one too.
Rosa Banksia lutea is gorgeous, I've seen it in gardens and always wish I had the space to grow one.
My third is Angelface, seeing it scrambling upwards in your last pic, a beautiful colour and shape.

I like most of these except the 'blues', they just dont like right to my poor blue/purple colour blind eyes.
Angel face is a stunner and doing very well for me too. I do like lady of Shallot and Champagne Moment.

I love all roses, out of these my favourite has to be Rosa Banksia lutea with Hot Chocolate a very close second....

I love most roses except for the "blue" ones (nothing wrong with my perception of colour!) but for me 'Champagne Moment' is the the one I like best! In several gardens around here there are similar light pink roses.

Definitely Champagne Moment for me.

Oh golly, what a question! I love roses and can't wait for their flowers to open again. Choosing a favourite is an impossible task, they are all beautiful in one way or another.
Girlguiding has been a major feature in my life so I created a bed for the roses associated with it. I am currently a member of the Trefoil Guild so have planted 'Trefoil Guild' there, and 'The Brownie' as I was a Brown Owl for. many years. 'Warm Wishes' is there too, a thank you gift from my Trefoil Guild for my term as their Chairman during the Covid pandemic.
I have two climbing roses too that have a special place in my heart, 'Leaping Salmon' which was given to my Mother in memory of my Father by my closest friend from college days and 'Chris' which I planted in her memory, both are prolific bloomers and make a significant contribution to the Summer colour scheme in my garden.

Think I'd go for Champagne Moment, but what do they smell like?
For me, the scent would be the deciding factor.
