Hi, I am Steve, I live in Newcastle upon Tyne, my hobbies are gardening, Motorbikes, Music and computers, I love my garden, its south facing, protected from wind and approx 40' x 40' its a bit of stress relief for me, for the last 5 years I have been experimenting with Fruit and veg, if it all goes well this year I will commit to a greenhouse and five 3m x 1.2m raised beds leaving the other half of the garden for shrubs etc.
Over the last 5 years I have planted 1 conference pear tree, 3 x small apple cordons, blackcurrant, gooseberry and rhubarb.
I am growing, Onions, Beetroot, swiss chard, carrots, peas, potatoes, courgettes,and have an old belfast sink for herbs, and lettuce in troughs, I have Tomatoes, peppers and chillies in the conservatory.
Everything is going well with the exception of a few tomato problems!.
