Sharing some flowers

Very nice to see the bleeding hearts flowering. Are those in the 3rd photo little anemoneis ?

Hywel, yes they are anemone blanda - I really love these. They are underneath a magnolia stellata but I couldn't get the exposure right to get both on a good photo.It is nice to find somebody who still calls dicentra bleeding heart with a clear conscience - I honestly had never thought about bleeding being a swear word until I saw an objection to it on here! We country bumpkins are still innocents.

What? How PC can that be? It's an old-fashioned name for a beautiful old-fashioned flower. Nothing to do with "bleedin' eck" or similar phrase. Feel free to flag this comment ... lol! I'll carry on calling my Dicentra a 'Bleeding Heart' forever . . . . .
