well if you read any of my other ramblings you will have noticed that i was going to ashley isles tools manufacturers today, well i went with 13 others from our woodworking club and we had a great day out.
The first thing that had me pleasantly surprised was the way we were greeted, a good old fashioned welcome and a cup of coffee, the host was a charming chap who took us through the years of making turning tools the company had done, and followed by a visit around the factory to see them being made, it really is wonderful to see people hand making tools with good old fashioned traditions.
Needless to say i gave in and bought a couple of tools, only to help keep them in business mind you 8)
sad part is i didn’t spend the day with my beloved wife annie and now its back to work, i will treat her shortly to a nice day out somewhere, and a picnic..

Well that's all that's needed sometimes a little bit of good old fashioned pampering, works every time for me. And your an old softie at heart too, nice one, a picnic always hits the spot, we are going on one tomorrow and taking our granddaughter to Dunham Park to go deer watching, and a bit of twitching too bino's and camera all ready.

not sure where we will go, she fancies Fountains Abbey. Annie already has several hobbies, sewing, calligraphy etc.. but as there are no botanical gardens near where we are, i dont think she would join.

l just checked out your website and it is really interesting - dont know how you find the time to do everything. It must be so rewarding to be so creative
