Hello....did anyone miss me...

Hello peeps, I’ve not been around for a while. Been at my mums looking after her, she had a fall at home. But last week Hubby and I went up to Wales to see his mum and do a few bits around the house. Spent most of the week gardening. Her garden has gone a bit wild. so I had to tackle the Ivy and bramble. looked quite nice by the time I finished, but forgot to take a photo of the finished item. But this is what it looked like before.

and this was half way through.

We did manage to get out a couple of days and one of those days we visited a place called Bro Meigan gardens. It was really lovely. And the cream teas they serve up WELL…. I was in heaven. Fresh warm scones, jam, fresh cream..Mmmmmmmmmm. Anyway enough of the cream teas. Well worth a visit if your in the area.
The other place we went to was Aberaeron. I love the place. The houses are so colourful, always reminds me of that kids programme Balamory.

My hubby was told they made some rather nice coffee and honey ice cream which he just had to try. The coffee bit was nice but i’m not a lover of honey so he ate mine too!

Anyway we had a great week away and mum-in law was pleased with the garden. Now we’ve got to go back in the spring and plant everything that’s in the pots in the garden. Think hubby might be taking his fishing rod next time, he’s not a great lover of gardening LOL.
