I like that Barnsley Baby Lavatera SL....one of my customers has one and it's really good compact plant much smaller than others.I'm not a fan of Lavatera (or any mallows really) but this one is great...not all sprawly.and what a lovely Lily!

You have lots of nice plants :o) I've got one honeysuckle like the 1st photo you show and it's very fragrant :o)

Lovely buddleia and lily, SL. My buddleia is nowhere near flowering yet and the lilies have been ravaged by lily beetle. I don't seem to have had much time for GOY recently either so can't keep up with everything.

Thanks Paul, yes nice compact plant this lavatera, it's the only one I like really.

Thanks Hywel, yes that ones a lovely one to have :-)

Thanks Tuesdaybear, I just seem so much more busier this year.

Never mind friends! Don't worry if you don't have as much time....come back whenever you want. Everyone is the same really....sometimes there aren't enough hours in the day!
I like Barnsley Baby too, but almost lost mine this spring....it doesn't seem to be as tough as its siblings. ANd that is a super lily!

I love that lavatera barnsley. White and pink colour of the bush is really charming.

I'm not a fan of my lavatera either, it's huge and pink and takes up far too much space.
Some gorgeous flowers there SL.

I didn't realise Lavatera Barnsley Baby got as big as that! I lost my full size Barnsley this year but have managed to get lavateras out of my system for now and am still being tempted to replace it with the strawberry vanilla hydrangea...

Thanks Karen I appreciate it, your right about the Barnsley baby, mine normally loses about two foot of growth winter time, then re-grows the next year.

Thanks Michaella :-)

Thanks Kat :-)

Thanks Lulu :-)

Thanks Amy, the Silybum is an annual/biannual but I will collect the seeds for next year, love the idea of yours sprouting up like that. :-)

Thanks Brian, I normally give them all a chelsea chop but had some vandals kill some of my rarer ones so I've let these grow to take cuttings and fill the voids left by the others that had to be ripped out.

Steragram I'm not normally a lavatera fan but this one took my eye a few years ago, the hydrangea sounds lovely.
