On the other hand..........

Ever since I put up my last blog I have been looking for other signs of spring to share with you.
Now perhaps its because it has done nothing but rain since, but the only thing making any progress is weeds and that would be too too depressing to photograph.
So I thought I would try to find a silver lining to the cloud. The main one of course has to be that it gives us all a teeny rest from the relentless climate warming, but on a more immediate level, it also forces some of the birds that would rather be eating insects to grace our bird tables.
These two lovelies are long-tailed tits. They can flock in groups of up to twenty but this is the first time I have seen them, and I am loving living in the countryside now!
Hope to be back next week with spring flowers galore as we bask in 10 degrees C!
