Hi Everyone.
Thankyou all so much for your replies to my last blog, and your wonderful wishes, glad to say i live approx 60 kilometres, away from the bushfires, but as i say with all the hot weather anything can happen, we are expecting a temperature of 38degrees celsus tomorrow.
Also today 26th February we had a Tiger Snake in the frontyard, i was beside myself, but fortunately we just left it alone and it decided to slither up towards the top of our court, and hopefully go back into the scrub.
Oh it was really unnerving, it was the first time we have had that happen in 27 years of living in Australia, (as we moved from the U.K back then.

I sympathise with your being worried by the snake.
I hope you keep safe away from the bushfires.
My thoughts are with all those in Australia affected in any way by those devastating flames.

I don't know about Tiger snakes, but from your reaction, they must be poisonous! I wouldn't like them around the garden! 38 degrees still sounds VERY hot! I don't suppose you are back working in your garden yet.
Are the bushfires still burning? They have dropped out of the news over here.

After a Goggle of this snake I can't say I blame you for being unnerved. A good policy, to just let it go it's merry way. Snakes are not something that really bothers me, but I treat them with a lot of respect and distance.
Hope your temps regulate soon and you are a little more comfy. Be cool!

Yes Sweettooth I hope you and all Australians stay safe from the terrible fires. I understand that it is believed that some of these fires were started deliberately. I hope you catch and hang the ba....ds who did such a terrible thing. There is no excuse and no mercy should be shown. Good luck to you all.

Hi, I'm glad you're not afected by the fires. We've had a much colder winter than normal here. I hated it, but I hate it too hot aswell. I just don't like extremes. I hope we all have some much needed pleasant weather this year.
