OK this might be my last blog!
I have been putting up quite a few and I don’t know if I am doing something wrong, and you want me to stop putting them up.
I know a while back there was a discussion on this matter, and a few didn’t like me doing it this way!
I am wondering if things have changed for the worse!
If this is the case say so, and I will stop!
I know lots of you are looking at them because my website stats tells me so.
So here is my latest one;
Looks like I missed my last one;

I love your slide shows, do not always take in all the words. My favourite is Hampton Court having been there,
and never forotten it, your pictures are not that clear on this one, sort of breaking up, shame.

You aren't doing anything wrong,Teegee..but as others have mentioned..it takes me so long,to look at all your lovely pics..once I couldn't get back to GoY..don't know why..I had to close my laptop down..but what I have seen are lovely..sorry,but I haven't looked at anyone's links much since..not just yours..I would love to look at them ,if you posted them on here :o)

Sorry teegee, I don't look into any links either, I like things simple, for the time I'm looking at GoY, I think that's one of it's main attractions, it's simplicity and the lovely peeps of course!

I cannnot see anything comlicated with these, just click on them and up they come. Agree cannot bother with links to other sites.

I think you misunderstand,Lizziebee..we aren't suggesting it's complicated at all..It's not..just quite time consuming..and as lovely as they are,I prefer to just look on GoY.. as I said earlier,I would love to see Teegee post them on Garden Photo's instead...

I don't have a problem with clicking onto your link TG, as it's quick & simple on my iPad ...it would take a lot longer on my main computer though. Even on my iPad I don't click onto any other links on blogs, unless they have direct access when I click on. Some of them just have the link & I have to go & type it into my browser bar to access it, which would mean copying it down ...which means getting up to search for pen & paper, so I don't ever bother with those ones.

I agree with the others I cannot see you are doing anything wrong either, but for me I do not go to the links as I have had a couple that my Norton security did not like. Also for me the enjoyment is seeing what is put on here and reading the comments and joining in some discussion that arise which you cannot get if following links.

I too enjoy your blogs but I can get very busy and don't have the time to read everything on here never mind going to other links. I do not comment when I do go through to your site because it means logging in or something, although that might be someone elses blogs. If i get back directly to this page then I will comment on it here but it does not take long for me to forget that I should be clicking on the back arrow and not on the cross in the top right corner. I remember you saying that you felt this site is very resticting. To get the best possible answer to solve those restrictions I would advise putting your specific queries in as a Question. If that does not work then contact "the boys" who set up the site. Every now and again over the last few years we have had notification that the site will be closed so that improvements can be installed. I think they are open to suggestions on improving the website for all of us. On occasion I have had problems eg how to make my photos small enough to allow the site to load them. I got an enormous amount of help from fellow members who are more computer literate than some of us.
In case you are wondering what my 'very busy' consists of this week - Saturday i went for a minicruise up the Firth of Forth, Tuesday am the seeds which I offered to pack arrived from the SRGC. Tuesday evening I attended a lecture on how to grow Bonsai Trees. Wednesday I was out working in the garden all day. Thursday I did my weekly shop and came home and cooked quite a lot of it and prepared it for freezing. Today I visited a wholesale nursery and had an hour long tour of their huge greenhouses. Had lunch there with the 3 friends who accompanied me. On the way home we dropped in to a shop for essential supplies and had a coffee. When we got home to my house we had a cuppa before my friend went home. Once people retire, like a lot of our members on this site, they suddenly wonder how they had time to hold down a job. I'm sorry you are not getting as good a response as you had hoped for but my tale might explain some of the reasons why. Don't stop doing what you do but enjoy it for its own sake. I'd be sorry to see you leave as you have given out some excellent advice during your time here.

just looked at your Harmony House blog. We have never visited it but will now. We are NTS members and its worth pointing out that NT members are also allowed free access to Scottish properties too. Will put a reminder to go in Spring. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

I too look at blogs on this site but rarely click on links to others. I enjoyed the Harmony House one, though the pics changes a little faster than I would have liked. How lovely it would be to have those high stone walls to grow stuff against! But I wouldn't
want to be responsible for those box hedges...

My computer loads so slowly, think it runs on coal!!, that going from one site to another takes too long. Actually from question to questions too. I need a new system [hint hint for my OH] That is why I rarely click on links. I've also fallen foul of viruses in the past. Not from you mind TG.
One of the other members does links to her gardening site too but again I rarely access them. Its a shame and I know it s'my fault' but computers need to be as idiot proof as possible.
