I usually give the computers a miss weekends but as I could not sleep and have woken early I will add some photos both new and old

Every morning my wife helps do a clean up and change the water. Birds like us need water too.

Long time no see, a long-tailed tit.

This member of the tit family usually mob the surrounding trees then one day you have a pair that will start feeding from the feeders. I reckon the female is building up her strength for that egg laying time, my suet mix does include meal worm and always water on supply.

I check the front window and it’s dark clouds and big wings something similar to a dragon from a horror movie.

Back to the kitchen window, pretty dark out there but a Dunnock-Robin and Pied wagtail enjoying the feed before it starts pouring.

In the gloom I also see a Blue tit enjoying some feed.

Little Robin at 09.20 a.m. Nearly missed breakfast.

My favourite time of year, all your hard work starts to show as flowers and plants.

Amazing how flower can transform a lifeless concrete pedestal pot.

Remember next week end, it’s birdwatch time again with many schools taking part.
