2 years this May/June

I thought I would share a couple of pics.
This was when we moved in 2 years ago. The old summer house has gone it was rotten, the shed behind that went to the old chap next door. Most of the lawn has now gone as well. It was tremendously boggy when we moved in. I have now put several beds in and a dry steam (a gravel ditch to aid drainage).
This was last year. A bit of hard graft, a few pennies. Although I do like buying bargins. Some of the plants came with us
They have really benifited from getting out of the pots, buckets etc.The tree ferns have absoloutly thrived as the garden is still quite moist even during the summer.
Like everyone else it is a passion, a hobby a life style. It keeps you smiling and happy and healthy.

Fantastic transformation! I am just starting on my front garden having neglected it for a while! Don`t know about others but I love working in the back as this is where I spend most of my leisure time but sometimes I admit not keeping up with the front garden, so I have decided to give it an overhaul and some tlc. Hope it turns out as impressive as yours!

My GOODNESS - what a transformation in such a short time! Good for you - brilliant! And you are right about what a garden does for you. Mine has been a solace, mind-keeper-offer and joy over the last difficult weeks of my Mum's illnes.
