A free Saturday
2 comments
This is the first Saturday in absoloutley weeks that 1. the weather is great. 2. There are no family members visiting. 3. My wife is away with work so I have the whole day outside.
Just uploaded some new pics taken the other evening
Everything seems to be stepping up a gear. The trees are starting to push out new leaves and blossom, the Tulips are racing each other to the flowering finish line, while the different Daffs nod in appreciation. Hellebors are still busy showing off, while the ferns are waking up silently beside them.
Jobs for today though, include removing an area of lawn that is always damp and bogy and replacing it with a continous flower bed. I have made a rustic arch/thingy so that when this is done I can add a bit of a path and get my sweet peas rambling up and over for a bit more hight and colour.
Turn the compost, trim all the lawn edges then sit back and enjoy.
I hope everyone else manages to get out today.
