About me
75 years old but fairly late to gardening,but i am fairly limited as to what i can do with back problems.we have a 300yr old cottage with two raised beds surrounded with drystone wall and i grow a fair number of plants and shrubs.i am now growing some veg this year and potatoes in pots.i have four dwarf fruit trees as well.trying to minimilise the work .soil washes through the walls onto the flagged path and we are continually sweeping.i thought about replacing the flags with either shingle or wood chippings where the soil deposits

ould just go through? any comments would be appreciated.
continuation---update,eighteen months gone by and just returned to growsonyou and the garden after a long period of illness and feeling very positive again
