A trip to the Castle Kennedy gardens & the Mull of Galloway.
Lochinch castle.
The rain didn’t dampen our spirits.
Lots of lovely fungi to see.
Lots of colour in the walled garden.
The ruins of Castle Kennedy.
The round pond present day & May 1990 full of water lilies.
Frost is rare here due to the gulf stream so lots of plants from New Zealand .
Met the local troll.
Another NZ favourite the bottle brush tree.
As we left the gardens the weather improved & we enjoyed stunning views at the Mull of Galloway. The snails were on the walled garden at the lighthouse its not cultivated so nobody minds them.A perfect place to end the day.
