blasted wind!

The blooming wind has blown my daffodill’s over, they were so pretty, and i didn’t get a photo of them! The new mini green house also got blown inside out, so i lost some seedlings, and cuttings too. I wish i had a proper green house, oh and the room for one! Ha ha. Any way, on a brighter note, i managed to get a load of plug plants for £1 a tray. So thats my hanging baskets sorted! Oh and a lovely blue double campanula, its so pretty, should i put it in my stone wall, the flowerbed or a pot?

Hi, thanks for the warm welcome. I don't have any info on that Camanula, none of the pots had cards in them, but it was so pretty, and the blue matches the colour of all of my doors, which drew me to it. It seems to be a carpet type. I don't even know if it likes full sun or shade. I intend to take some cuttings, just incase i kill it! Ha Ha.

Welcome from me aswell :)
Pitty about your daffodils. They must have looked nice. Maybe you could salvage them and put them in a vase.

Hi Wilbargam ...
That's a pity about the winds playing havoc with your gardens... Can you add a photo of the Campanula to this blog and that might help us identify it for you... Sounds like it is a lovely colour... some of those are very beautiful shades of blue...
... oh... and welcome to GoY :o)))

Thanks everyone. Hywel and Chris, i have cut the daffodils and it turns out that not as many were damaged as i first thought, however i have got a lovely varity of daff's in vases in my windowsill. The smell reminds my of being a child at home with mom. Terratoonie, thanks i will do that.

Welcome to GOY! That is a shame about your Daffodils, it's been really windy here too, knocking over wheelie bins etc! About your Campanula, it all depends on what type it is? Some are tall growing some are carpeting, and every other size in between! Do you have any information on it?
