A tour around the Malvern Show 2010 ~Part 2

In total we spent 8 hours at the show leaving at 5. 55 before they closed the gates at 6.
We went through two batteries in the camera so resorted to using my phone camera! Unfortunately I tried yesterday to download a load of photos from my phone, which takes brilliant photos having a 5 megapixel camera, but managed to lose them all in the ether! all 310!
I still don’t know what happened but it means I lost all the floral photos, some of which were beautifully done ~ in particular the mini arrangements using a small seat and a gate, and the outside photos.~ also pics of Merl and Mags that have been on my phone for ages….
So taking that into account here goes!
These are all from Chris Cooke who sells a range of unusual and rare hardy perennials and sold me the Trochodendron at Cardiff.
and these Auriculas were from Pops Plants who are holding the National collection .
~At the back of the floral marquee was an unexpected find ~Plants with
Altitude, Hartside Nursery Garden, nr Alston, Cumbria, who had the most gorgeous miniature Rhododendrons
this nursery was apparently under snow between mid December
and mid March but still turned up with lots of lovely plants
they too have a catalogue of rare and unusual Hardy plants.
Lovely roses from the Rose Society’s winners and a fantastic display of veg.
That’s all until October!

Thanks for showing the rest of the pics, so sorry you lost your pics can you ask a techie, my daughter deleted all her photos one holiday and my neighbour who is over 80 found them on the camera (they were still there) as long as you do not take any more photos it is possible to retrieve them, not sure about a mobile phone though?

I'm glad you enjoyed your day Arlene. Pitty about the photos being lost. I hope you'll be able to recover them somehow. I think the Arisaema looks wierd but wonderful lol. And seeing the grey Auricula has reminded me I wanted to start collecting them. They're lovely plants.

Hi Arlene, I can quite understand how you must feel & am sorry for your loss but as long as you don't use the camera to take any more photos it should be possible to recover them from the memory stick inside the phone. I hope your son-in-law's dad can recoup them for you.
I loved all the flowers in the blog once again. The roses were especially lovely & really caught my attention!!

So frustrating about your pics Arlene, even so you still probably have more than I managed to takeon the Saturday. The hands were too cold outside and it was too crowded inside. It was still brilliant htough:-) I love the fritillaria and the uvularia, both in my to get list:-)
