Thankyou Noseypotter. The Wagon Wheel be bought back from Spain with us three & a half years ago while on our Honeymoon with our caravan, my cousin husband who is spanish gave it to us, we brought it home on top of our Landrover Defender that we used to have,,,, that area has now changed a bit as the Ceanothus gave up and died, which was a shame as it was a nice splash of colour also the wheel needs a bit of repair done on it as once there was wood worm in it and has swelled and is now breaking up and I don't really know what to do about it, Hubby said chuck it Huh! must be someone that could sort it for me. Jackie :o))))

i would get some wood worm killer and then get some yaght varnish . you will have to bring it in the dry to completly dry out thow as the varnish needs to go on bone dry wood . its well worth it as even partialy rotted it has great apeal and have you seen the price of them . your welcome your garden has a lovley balance and if you want any help with your pond just ask .

Thank You for your comments.
Pondlady. You wouldn't want to see what is through the arch as it is a mess since my Husband's Workshop was built, I'm still trying to get it tidyed up Ha! Ha! Its taking a long time due to not being older and find it harder to do but I will get there aventually, also the ceanothus you can see through the arch is long gone as it died, the trunk rotted.
Noseypotter. I'm no garden designer by far just do my best but surprise people with what I do get upto of the age of 62yrs LOL and I'm not that good at spelling, I get msn email window up and do spell checks LOL.
I Have done a lot to clear the garden of mess but it has taken 2yrs so far and still a little way to go yet.
