Made me chuckle, I had an aunt who always sprinkled sugar on her tomato, even when having a salad, as children we always came out with a YUK, lol....

You know its something I've never tried......after all you put fruit In a salad.....some of those tiny sweet ones might be nice......notvsure about sugar on them though Lincs

A little bit of sugar on tomatoes brings the flavour out. I always add a level teaspoon of sugar to my bolognese sauce for that reason. Try it, it works!

Oh yes Doreen I had a friend who always did that, never tried it myself though..
Pam I can picture her now, she put sugar on her toms all the time, I remember her dipping them in a saucer of sugar, which is how I like my fresh strawbwerries, yummy...
