Weather was damp as i viewed my good lady feeding the hanging basket plants. I noticed all my shed floor planks were in order and not commandeered for a rumoured galleon. Then flipping heck a shrill scream made me look out the window my good lady was in a tissy. I ventured out with my trusty rake in one hand and my mug of tetleys in the other, only to learn a baby squirrel had jumped out of a basket . Shiver me timbers me poor lass was in shock, the little devil must have slept amongst my Creeper. It must have really unnerved her as she drank all my blooming tea on the way back to the house. What an absolute rotter. I sat and pondered my next venture when my bonny lass surprized me with a side plate of cucumber sandwiches and my refilled mug of elixar. It began to rain but what the heck i enjoyed the moment. Take care all Tony

Ohh poor Valerie! That must have been a right old shock! It's a wonder she didn't drown it with plant food! Or your mug of Tetleys! Still there's nothing like a nice mug of somebody else's tea to get over a surprise like that! Where was it? In the periwinkle? Squirrels are quite cute wee things, but when they're young they're a bit 'mousey' looking, I would probably have shrieked so loudly, you could likely heard me over there! Hopefully she's all settled now, but I think it would be the gentlemanly thing to do by accompanying your good lady on her feeding rounds until she's happy again!
Did you try the weedkiller on your patio yet? And is the gardener doing a good job on your lovely lawn? Are all the cuttings fit and well? I'll speak to you again soon, Tony, take care!x

Oh my!!!! I love squirrels but I would have reacted in pretty much the same way, you don`t expect them to jump out at you, lol, one does wonder who got the biggest scare tho, cos the little one obviously wasn`t expecting a shower..I have to say I think your ladywife spoils you Tony, the amount of time she is bringing you food and drink.
Very nice photo`s...

Tell you what if you've ever been bitten by a grey rodent and needed stitches and a jab up the bottom. You would have hit the b****y thing with your spade.

Hi bloomer I have been warned to steer clear of squirrels and to avoid all contact. I am proud to say my Tetleys is not to be shared with any wild life or my cucumber sandwiches will be withdrawn(LoL) . Take care enjoy Tony
